Window Seat Custom Cushions

 Custom cushions were tailored to fit the large open living room,  better suiting the scale & cleaning up the space with a striking green fabric featuring floral medallions.  Tufted details provide a more structured look and play off the client's contemporary sofa.

Custom Window Seat Cushions:  Before shots depict flat and cluttered combination of seat cushions and toss pillows.

Moraga Guest Bedroom

Project Scenario: This teenage boys’ bedroom needed more than a fresh coat of paint. The client required additional functional storage and display areas to showcase his ceramic work. They wanted to achieve a tranquil atmosphere for maximum studying efficiency. Budget was also to be taken into account. The result exceeded the client’s expectations.
Design Concept: The beech cabinetry in medium wood tones combined with ‘alfresco’ blue  colored walls and accented with the chartreuse pillows provided a rich, colorful and textural contrast. We also utilized the clients’ existing rattan desk, chair and antique nightstand. These pieces provided the tropical island foundation and became inspiration for the raffia roman shades, bamboo closet curtains & Tiki light plate.

Finish Details: The dark wall color frames the window nicely, which accentuates the view and green foliage outside. The homes trim is minimal so it was painted the same color as the walls but in a gloss finish to also help achieve the rooms
 calming environment. Nature’s vibrant green color was brought into the room with the addition of the accent pillows.

Approximate Cost Breakdown:
Design Services= 6 hours/$600
Cabinetry & Lighting = $560
Paint = $100
Bedding Pillows = $40
Window Treatments = $250
Bamboo Closet Curtains = $60
TOTAL: $1,610

*Note: Labor not estimated. To save on the labor costs the client played an active role in picking up supplies, materials and set up costs. Bed, desk, lamp and a few other furniture pieces previously existed.

Capitola Kitchen

Small space? No problem. This cozy Capitola Beach getaway utilizes every inch of storage space by taking advantage of its towering ceilings. Along with the soothing tones of the exotic wood stained veneer and stone countertop the getaway transformed into a peaceful spa-like atmosphere.
